The Morgan City Recreation Department 7- and 8-year-old AllStars were recognized during Biddy Basketball Closing Ceremonies Friday at M.D. Shannon. St. Mary Central 12U team finishes regional play 2-2

The St. Mary Central 12U All-Stars fell 13-1 to Union Parish Monday in the Louisiana Dixie Youth North Regional Tournament in Winnsboro. The loss ended St. Mary Central’s season.

Regional play for 10s, 12s begins Friday

Area 10-year-old and 12-year-old teams will continue Dixie Youth play this weekend as they begin play in their respective regionals in either Ponchatoula or Winnsboro.
