Randi Brown named College Sports Madness Southland Player of the Week

University of New Orleans sharpshooting guard Randi Brown has been named College Sports Madness Southland Conference Women’s Player of the Week for her performances against Alabama and Southern Mississippi.
The Houma native and Central Catholic alum had 26 points and five rebounds versus the Crimson Tide.
She followed that up two days later with an 18-point, four-rebound and two-assist outing against Southern Mississippi.
Brown was a First Team Preseason All-Southland Conference selection and was UNO’s first conference Freshman of the Year when she won that award after the 2014-15 season.
