Police Reports 2-7-14

St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert reported the following arrests:
Sheri Tabb, 34, of 106 Genevieve St., Franklin, was arrested Thursday at 9:07 a.m. on a warrant charging her with violation of the leash law. She was released on a summons.
Bernie Metrejean, 39, of Pierre Part, was arrested Thursday at 11:20 a.m. on a failure to appear warrant on charges of possession of Schedule II drugs with intent to distribute. No bond was set.
Gia Dardeau, 29, of 712 Toups St., Berwick, was arrested Thursday at 2:46 p.m. on warrants charging her with theft of assets of an aged person, identity theft, unauthorized use of a credit card and theft over $500. No bond was set.
Franklin Police Chief Sabria McGuire reported that the Criminal Investigation Division Technology Assistance, with assistance from the Lafourche Parish Sheriff’s Office and Nicholls State University Police conducted an investigation and on Thursday arrested Jireh Devon Grimm, 21, of 1603 Willow St., Franklin.
The investigation came after a report of alleged indecent behavior with a 16-year-old juvenile. Grimm was charged with indecent behavior with juveniles, computer-aided solicitation of a minor for sexual purposes and possession of pornography involving juveniles. He was released on $95,000 bond.
In unrelated arrests, Ryan Carr, 22, of Labau St., Baldwin, was arrested Thursday at 1:37 p.m. on a warrant charging him with stalking and was also charged with probation violation. No bond was set.
Brandon Butler, 30, of Canal Drive, Franklin, was arrested Thursday with assistance from the Third Ward Court Marshal’s Office on multiple Baton Rouge warrants charging him with vehicle license required, improper backing, no driver’s license on person, no proof of insurance, resisting an officer, possession of marijuana, public drinking, trespassing, disturbing the peace by offensive words, gambling in public, simple assault, illegal use of 911, U-turn violation and no seat belt. He was transferred to Baton Rouge.
David Burrell Sr., 54, of St. Joseph Lane, Franklin, was arrested Thursday at 3:40 p.m. on warrants charging him with failure to appear on charges of theft over $500, resisting an officer, simple burglary and two counts of forgery. No bond was set.
