Franklin rallied to win the Louisiana Dixie Youth Minors South Regional, while West Carroll blasted Ruston for the North Regional title.
The last Tri-City area Minors (10U) team was eliminated Monday from Louisiana Dixie Youth South Regional play in Morgan City, but St.
Nov. 1 is the deadline to enter pageants being held in Franklin on Nov. 14.
The Morgan City Recreation Department’s 9-year-old All-Star baseball team will be in action beginning Thursday at the district tournament in Thibodaux. Team

District tournaments for 9- and 11-year-old teams will begin in Thibodaux Thursday at Peltier Park.
Morgan City will send teams to both tournaments.
