Helping Hearts Foundation Banquet

<p>The Tri-City Helping Hearts Foundation held its 13th annual banquet Saturday at the St. Mary Parish Senior Citizen Center in Morgan City. The organization helps families in the Tri-City area that cannot afford a proper burial for their loved ones. In the first photo, Tri-City Helping Hearts Foundation President Herman Hartman presents Clarence McGuire, owner of J in C Concrete Finishers, with the Citizen of the Year award. In the second picture, members of the organization are, from left: Reginald Weary, Herman Hartman, Cornel Keeler, Barbara Walker, Lisa Jordan, Patterson councilman Travis Darnell, Ramon Colar, and Earl Johnson. Not present were Ruby Maize, Pastor Larry Frank, Ella Mahannah and Janice Willoughby. In the third photo is guest speaker Judge Lori Landry.
