Berwick places 14th at state cross country meet

Berwick High School placed No. 14 in Class 3A at the 2016 State Farm Louisiana High School Athletic Association Cross Country Championship meet held at Northwestern State University in Natchitoches last week.
The squad scored 382 points in the meet.
Berwick was led by junior Ian Valdez, who finished No. 16 with a time of 18:11.01.
Junior Sean Cantrelle was the second-highest Berwick runner as he finished No. 55 with a time of 20:09.61. Other Berwick runners included freshman Luke Orlando at No. 102 with a time of 21:47.65; sophomore Dylan Lipari at No. 114 with a time of 22:24.53; and junior Daniel Seymour at No. 124 with a time of 23:58.35.
