The Central Catholic Lady Eagles finished 0-3 this weekend at Vandebilt Catholic’s Jack Becker Classic.
The Lady Eagles fell Friday to Terrebonne, 43-15, and on Saturday to Vandebilt Catholic, 56-15, and Houma Christian, 59-23.
Morgan City falls
to Redemptorist
The Morgan City Lady Tigers fell to Redemptorist Friday, 40-34.
Alisha Singleton led Morgan City with 11 points, while Laqwaijha Bourgeois had 10 in the loss to Redemptorist, a Class 2A quarterfinalist a year ago.
Other scorers for Morgan City included Meya Morse, eight; and Elicia Dorsey, five.
Friday’s loss snapped a four-game winning streak for Morgan City.
The Lady Tigers (5-4) will return to action today when it travels to face Patterson in a 6:30 p.m. contest.

Redemptorist
Morgan City High School defeated Redemptorist 55-45 in Baton Rouge Friday.
The game was tied at 12 after the first quarter and Morgan City took a 23-21 lead into halftime.
Morgan City extended its lead after three quarters to 40-34 and outscored the Wolves 15-11 in the final period.
Morgan City had three players reach double figures led by Tywaun Walker with 13 points.
Other scorer for Morgan City included Makye Richard, 11; Marvin Young, 10; Jaylen Jones, 7; Brady Fryou, 6; Lloyd Singleton, 4; and Ke’sean Francois, 2.
Morgan City (6-2) will return to action today when it travels to meet Plaquemine in a 5:30 p.m. contest.
