Donaldsonville blows out Berwick

The Berwick Panthers fell Monday to Donaldsonville 88-44 in District 9-3A action in Berwick.
Berwick trailed 20-6 after a quarter, 43-22 at halftime and 65-34 after three quarters.
Audwin Williams led Berwick with 20 points, while Brandon Naverro had 16 and Tyvon Batiste, six.
Berwick (7-13, 0-2) will continue District 9-3A action Friday when it makes the short trip to Patterson to face the Lumberjacks. Tipoff is set for 7:30 p.m.
Donaldsonville overwhelms Lady Panthers
Donaldsonville jumped out to a 25-3 first-quarter lead en route to a 77-13 win against Berwick.
The Lady Panthers trailed 35-9 at halftime and were limited to four points in the second half — all in the third quarter.
Jenna Beiza and Kayla Francise each scored four points for the Lady Panthers.
Berwick (2-18, 0-4) will return to action Friday when it travels to Patterson for a 6:30 p.m. contest.
