MCHS boys' hoops win hall of fame game

Morgan City High School’s boys basketball team defeated Beau Chene 55-48 in a Hall of Fame exhibition game in New Iberia Saturday.
Ke’sean Francois led the Tigers with 13 points and four assists.
Other top contributors included Cedric Gant, nine points and seven rebounds; Jared Singleton, nine points and four steals; Marquise Charles, eight points and six rebounds; Makye Richard, six points and five rebounds; Kerwin Francois, four points and three steals; and Deonte Green and Taaj Daniels, each three points.
The Tigers will continue preseason work today with a 5 p.m. scrimmage against White Castle.
Morgan City will open its season Nov. 19 at Grace King’s tournament.
