Morgan City tennis faces Vandebilt Catholic
Morgan City and Vandebilt Catholic met on the tennis courts Tuesday.
In singles action, Morgan City’s Niki Ring defeated Vandebilt Catholic’s Denee’ Duet, 6-3, 6-3.
In doubles action, Morgan City’s Bailee Hoggatt and Krystina Pitre defeated Vandebilt Catholic’s Ashley Clement and Julie McMahon, 6-0, 6-3, while Morgan City’s Faith Crappell and Jolee Nini defeated Vandebilt Catholic’s Alex Welch and Remi Bourque, 7-5, 6-0.
In other doubles action, Morgan City’s Caylee Deshotel and Emily Boudreaux defeated Sabrina Dos and Allie Arceneaux, 6-2, 6-4, while Morgan City’s Katelyn Gautreaux and Emily LaCoste fell to Isabella Richard and Maggie Thibodaux, 6-3, 2-6, 0-6.
In boys singles action, Morgan City’s Blake Singleton fell to Vandebilt Catholic’s John McCain, 0-6, 0-6.
In doubles action, Morgan City’s Brandon Rock and Zach Ingram fell to Vandebilt Catholic’s Connor Doyle and Conrad Richard, 0-6, 0-6, while Morgan City’s Jaden Breaux and Tyler Hebert fell to Alex Bouloche and Miguel Espiritu, 0-6, 1-6.

In boys singles action, Central Catholic’s Connor Hebert won 6-0, while Luke Brinkley won 6-1.
In boys doubles action, Central Catholic’s Gavin Wisdom and Jon Gilmore won 6-1, 6-3, while Brinkley and Hebert fell 6-3.
In girls singles action, Central Catholic’s Lindsee Case fell 8-3.
In girls doubles action, Central Catholic’s Ashley Daigle and Emma Thomas won 8-3, while Central Catholic’s Elise Hidalgo and Kerrylyn Luc fell 8-5.
In other girls doubles action, Central Catholic’s Elise Daigle and Katie Navarro fell 8-1, while Central Catholic’s Grace Granger and Sara Price fell 8-4.
