Tigers fall to E.D. White

E.D. White knocked off Morgan City 57-50 in nondistrict boys basketball action in Morgan City Monday.
While Morgan City led 13-10 after the first quarter, E.D. White took a 27-26 lead into halftime and led 38-37 after three quarters.
Morgan City hit seven three pointers in the contest.
Ke’sean Francois and Taaj Daniels led Morgan City with 14 points apiece.
Other Morgan City scorers included Makye Richard and Lloyd Singleton, eight points apiece; Tywuan Walker, three points; and Clifton Escort, two points.
Morgan City will return to action Friday when it opens District 7-4A action in Galliano against South Lafourche. The game is set for a 7:30 p.m. start.
CCHS games to
be broadcast
Central Catholic’s District 7-1A contests against Highland Baptist in Morgan City tonight will be carried on KBZE 105.9 FM and KFRA 1390 AM.
The girls varsity contest is set for a 5 p.m. start, while the boys varsity game will follow at approximately 6 p.m.
