Wolfpack rally by Ferriday

Ferriday _ Glenn Marsh and Thaddeus Gabriel combined to send the West St. Mary Wolfpack to a 21-20 comeback in a non-district contest here Friday.
Marsh rushed for over 75 yards on the night while Gabriel hauled in the game-winning interception from his safety position.
The Ferriday Trojans (2-3) built up a 14-0 halftime lead over the West St. Mary Wolfpack (3-2) before WSM rallied for 21 points in the third quarter, securing a 21-20 advantage.
After trailing the Trojans by a 14-0 halftime deficit, West St. Mary scored three touchdowns to take a pulsating 21-20 lead in the final period.
Down the stretch, the Wolfpack preserved the victory when Gabriel pilfered a game-saving interception with eight seconds remaining in the contest.
West St. Mary, which improved to 3-2 overall with the win, will play host to the Notre Dame Pioneers on Thursday at Wolfpack Stadium in the District 6-3A opener.
