Lemoine-Callas exchange vows

Stephanie Lemoine and Christopher Callas exchanged wedding vows at 6 p.m. Nov. 30 at St. Stephen Catholic Church in Berwick. Monsignor J. Douglas Courville officiated.
The bride is the daughter of James and Ruby Lemoine of Berwick. The groom is the son of Linda and Earl Callas of Humble, Texas.
Music for the ceremony was by Lee Leblanc, organist; Ian Bergeron, trumpeter; and Kristen Wiggins, vocalist.
Escorted in marriage by her father, the bride was attired in a mermaid-style gown in candlelight white. The silhouette featured floral embellishments at the waist.
Her fingertip-length veil was edged with rhinestones.
She carried a brooch bouquet done in purple and silver.
Stacie Simmons was her sister’s matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Jamie Keith, Jamie Hotard and Lauren Lemoine.
Flower girl was Allie Keith. Max Simmons served as ringbearer.
Brett Callas was his brother’s best man. Groomsmen were Zach Callas and Brian Weathers.
Ushering guests was Jimmy Lemoine Jr.
A reception followed at the Berwick Civic Complex. Decorations were in a “country-chic theme” featuring burlap, rustic doors and more.
The wedding cake was a four-tiered confection designed with a ruffle effect and eggplant-colored flowers.
The backdrop for the groom’s table featured a hunting theme.
Helping serve the cake was Bridgett Bassa, sister of the bride.
Prior to the wedding, a rehearsal dinner was held at the Petroleum Club of Morgan City. Hosting the event was the parents of the groom.
The bride is a graduate of Berwick High School and the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. She is employed with State Farm.
The groom is a graduate of Hargrave High School in Humble, Texas. He is a Professional Golf Association tour caddy.
They honeymooned in Jamaica and reside in Bayou Vista.
