NOLA ChristmasFest begins Dec. 18

The New Orleans Ernest N. Morial Convention Center has announced the dates for its third annual NOLA ChristmasFest, which will kick off Dec. 18. The family-oriented holiday festival will wrap up on Dec. 27.
The 10-day NOLA ChristmasFest will be open from noon to 8 p.m. and will take place inside Hall B at the New Orleans Ernest N. Morial Convention Center.
Patrons to the festival have access to an indoor ice skating rink, dazzling lights and more than 70 Christmas trees decorated by New Orleans businesses. The celebration will also include a walk-through maze, themed inflatables, and rides such as the Kringle Carousel, Winter Whirl and Snowy Summit Climbing Wall.
NOLA ChristmasFest visitors will have the opportunity to take photos with Santa as well as several of his friends. This year’s festivities will continue on Christmas Eve from noon to 5 p.m. and on Christmas Day from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Additionally, Convention Center Boulevard will once again be draped in holiday décor and lights, synced to traditional and contemporary Christmas music.
General admission tickets for NOLA ChristmasFest are $5 and include the Kringle Carousel and the life-size maze. All-access tickets are $20 and include entrance to the festival, ice skating and all rides and inflatables. Children 2 and under enter for free. All attendees under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
