Patterson Knights of Columbus presents awards
Patterson Knights of Columbus Council 1710 installed newly elected officers July 26. Installation was conducted by past District Deputy Patrick Vidrine and council Chaplain the Rev. Herb Bennerfield following Mass at St. Joseph Catholic Church.
After the installation, everyone reconvened at the council home for a banquet and presentation of awards.
Plaques were given to past Grand Knight Chris Wheeler, Vidrine, Knight of the Year Henry LeRay and Family of the Year Frank and Joy Guarisco.
A monetary gift was given to seminarian David Rozas, who assisted Bennerfield this summer at St. Joseph.
Preparing the meal for the banquet was past Grand Knight Raymond Verret and his wife, Lola.
Door prizes of flowers were given away at the end of the banquet.
