M C Bank's Emily Berry completes leadership training

Emily Berry of M C Bank, Morgan City, successfully completed the 2016 Leadership School, “Growing our Next Generation of Leaders,” a six-month program that included online course work and five instructor led sessions focused on developing leadership skills and enhancing knowledge in various areas of banking.
The program, provided by the Louisiana Bankers Association and held in Baton Rouge at The Bankers Center, hosts students from all over the state. The 2016 session marked its seventh year.
Founded in 1900, the LBA works to provide advocacy, communication, education and other services to its member institutions, and to provide banking information to the general public.
M C Bank offered congratulations to the 2016 LBA Leadership School graduates and commended Berry for the dedication and persistence she has shown in furthering her banking career.
“To put into words the amount of impact that Emily has had on M C Bank is not possible,” said Jeremy Callais, executive vice president, chief operation officer and chief financial officer at M C Bank. “From day one, Emily has provided the bank with an amazing ability to help get our wonderful message to others through her role in Marketing. Emily has quickly become a very valuable part of our family here at M C Bank. She is a person that I admire not only professionally, but in all aspects of her life. She is a true gem worthy of this accomplishment and so much more.”
