The Morgan City Recreation Department recognized its league champions during Biddy Basketball closing ceremonies Jan. 20 at M.D. Shannon Elementary. Recreation won the 7- and 8-year-old league. The Morgan City Double AA baseball All-Stars (7-8-year-olds) were recognized during closing ceremonies Thursday at Complex Park in Morgan City. Team members include, in no particular order, Jamyre Bias, Bryan Cordero, Conner Daigle, Tate Fontenot, Kade Gagliano, Maddox Justilian, Ja’Kavior Kemp, Jackman Lind, Jade Oliney, Chaz’ Pickens, Lucas Pickens and Landyn Ramagos.
