Grand opening for Bayou Vista Domino's

Staff Report

BAYOU VISTA—Domino’s celebrated its grand opening by giving away pizza, a television and other treats to customers on Saturday.

Charles Norman, of Patterson, won free pizza for a year. Joann Pollard, also of Patterson, won the 40-inch Magnavox Smart television. Norman and Pollard’s names were randomly selected in a drawing.

Others received t-shirts, free medium pizzas, snack bites, and cotton candy.

With over 5,000 locations nationwide, the Bayou Vista store was among the first of 100 to receive a Dominos Expert delivery (DXP) car. It is specially designed and built for pizza delivery.

"The Domino's DXP is the first purpose-built vehicle aimed at revolutionizing pizza delivery," Domino’s USA President Russell Weiner said on the Bold Ride website.
