HILDA THERESA VIDOS

August 6, 1939 — October 1, 2015
Hilda Theresa Vidos, 76, a resident of Morgan City, passed away on Thursday, Oct. 1, 2015, at Teche Regional Medical Center, surrounded by her loving family.
Hilda was born on Aug. 6, 1939, in Pierre Part, the daughter of Elton and Mattie Richard Verrett.
Hilda was a very loving and caring person who never met a stranger. She was a devoted mother, wife and grandmother who loved her grandchildren dearly.
Hilda loved to go to the casino, dancing and listening to Cajun music. She loved to watch the television show The Little People, and her favorite channels were Lifetime and QVC. She will be missed by all who knew her.
She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her husband, Wilton Vidos of Morgan City; two daughters, Gayle Vidos Lavergne and husband, Paul, of Morgan City and Karen Womack and husband, Raymond, of Morgan City; three sons, Wade Vidos and companion, Lisa, of Morgan City, Carl Vidos and wife, Deborah, of Broussard, and Gary Vidos and companion, Mary, of Morgan City; six grandchildren, Ronnie Toups, Callie Lavergne, Mattie Fontenot, Mallory Fontenot, Jeffrey Vidos and Jennifer Moncrief; one great-granddaughter, Abbie Toups; and one future grandson, Parker Pisani.
Hilda was preceded in death by her parents, Elton Verrett and Mattie Richard Verrett; and two sisters, Dorothy Turner Verrett and Anita Stokley.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 5, 2015, at Twin City Funeral Home. A visitation will be held from 9 a.m. until the time of service at 1 p.m. Hilda will be laid to rest in the Morgan City Cemetery.
