MAMIE ROSE FRANKLIN

Mrs. Mamie Rose Franklin, 91, a resident and native of Morgan City, died Sunday, September 29, 2013, at 2 p.m., at Morgan City Health Care Center following a short illness.
She is survived by three sons, Henry Franklin Jr. of Morgan City, Anthony Franklin (his wife, Gloria) of Houston, Texas, and Pastor A. Franklin (his wife, Hattie) of Bossier City; two daughters, Ms. Diana Taylor and Mrs. Connie Bias (her husband, Carlos), both of Morgan City; and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren; and other relatives and friends.
Mrs. Franklin was preceded in death by her parents, husband, three sons, four daughters and one brother.
Visitations will be observed Saturday, Oct. 5, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m., at Otis Mortuary Inc. Chapel in Franklin.
Burial rites will be read Saturday, at 12 p.m., at the mortuary, with Pastor Ronnie Bias officiating. Interment will follow in the Morgan City Cemetery.
The Otis Mortuary of Franklin is in charge of preparations.
