Lipari leads CCHS all-district selections

Central Catholic had three first-team selections on the All-District 6-V team, including the Defensive MVP.
Central Catholic defensive specialist Brooke Lipari, a freshman, earned the individual honor.
Other top selections for the Lady Eagles included junior outside hitter Hallie Autin, sophomore outside hitter Quincee Wiggins and eighth-grade setter Katie Hoffpauir.
Central Catholic had three second-team selections, eighth-grade middle blocker Yani Johnson, sophomore setter Taylor Picou and senior right side hitter Lindsee Case.
Junior defensive specialist Emma Aucoin, eighth-grade right side hitter Ava Nicar and junior middle blocker Rebecca David all were named honorable mention selections.
District champion Houma Christian took two of the three individual honors as Samantha Ordoyne was named Coach of the Year, and Dionjnae Thomas was the Offensive Most Valuable Player.
