The Bayou Horseshoe Pitchers Association held its St. Jude's Fall Horseshoe Tournament Aug. 27 at Kemper Williams Park near Patterson. Class A winners were, from left, Tim Gilmore of Bayou Vista, first place; Bill Seither of Buras, second place; and
Ricky Richard of Church Point, third place. Gilmore was named tournament champion after finishing with a 5-0 mark. He had a ringer percentage of 51. Class D winners at the Bayou Horseshoe Pitchers Association's Fall Horseshoe Tournament were, from left, Glenn Caillouet of Matthews, first place; Eddie Guidry of Port Allen, second place; and Mack Thibodeaux of Lake Arthur, third place. Caillouet finished 5-1 with a ringer percentage
of 27.1, while Guidry was 4-2 with a ringer percentage of 25. Thibodeaux was 3-2 with a ringer percentage of 24.0.
