Fuselier wins 700 Club tourney

Dustin Fuselier won the annual 700 Club Tournament Saturday at Charlie’s Lanes.
Fuselier, defeated Alberto Bochas, the winner of the loser’s bracket, 218-190, to win the event.
Bochas would have had to beat Fuselier, the champion of the winner’s bracket, twice to win the event.
The tournament, put on by the Morgan City U.S. Bowling Congress Bowling Association as well as Charlie’s Lanes, is open to all bowlers that have bowled a sanctioned 700 or 800 series in Morgan City.
The event’s format is a two-game seating total then bracket format based on seating.
Bracket play is double elimination.
All games were scratch and handicap is only figured to determine the high handicap bowler, which was eliminated after four games.
Leo Delaune was the winner of the high handicap bowler.
