St. Jude's Spring Horseshoe Fundraiser held

St. Jude’s Spring Horseshoe Tournament Fundraiser

Patterson

Class A: first place, Tim Gilmore of Bayou Vista, 5-0, 58.0; second place, Edie Corso of Destrehan, 3-2, 48.5; third place, Pat Pertuit of Marrero, 3-2, 50.5.
Gilmore was crowned Tournament Champion.
Class B: first, Bill Seither of Buras, 4-1, 43.5; second, Jimmy Percle of Morgan City, 3-2, 32.0; third, Al Dodson of Morgan City 3-2, 37.0.
Class C: first, Randy Giroir of Berwick, 5-1, 27.5; second, Cheryl Matt of Lake Charles, 4-2, 33.7; third, Larry Pertuit of Marrero, 3-2, 26.5.
After being tied in regulation, Giroir defeated Matt in a 40-shoe playoff game and was named Class Champion.
Class D: first, Ron Smith of Lake Charles, 4-1, 20.5; second, Glen Caillouet of Raceland, 3½-1½, 20.0; third, Chris Rogers of Morgan City, 3-2, 14.0.
All fund raised in this tournament will combined with the St. Jude’s Fall Horseshoe Tournament and then presented to St. Jude’s.
