Heart of Hospice staff members recently posed with Marla Benoit, who was named the winner of the Heart of Hospice Champion of Excellence for End-of-Life Care Award for the Bayou Region. The award goes to a staffer who is responsive to the needs of hospice patients, upholds high ethical standards and promotes inclusiveness to ensure that everyone eligible for hospice care receives it. Benoit works at the Morgan City Healthcare Center.
