Morgan City Main Street sets Santa's Block Party

Santa’s Block Party in downtown Morgan City will be held Dec. 3 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The Amazing Jingle Run, Santa Paws Parade and contest as well as the Cypress Corvette Car Show all will be held.

Santa Claus will be onsite as well as the Cruisin Chariots, while music, entertainment, food and sweets all will be offered.

Other events will include a photo booth, face painting, the Bayouland Emergency Amateur Radio Service’s Amateur Radio special event station and Santa’s discounts and door prizes at all participating shops in downtown Morgan City. The stores will open at 10 a.m.

An Art on the River mini art walk is sponsored by The Frame Shop & Gallery Coffee.

Santa’s Block Party is being sponsored by Morgan City Main Street, M C Bank and Trust and downtown merchants.
