Lady Tigers beat Assumption again

The Morgan City Lady Tigers picked up their second consecutive District 7-4A victory as they edged Assumption 61-58 Friday.

The Morgan City Tigers’ and Lady Tigers’ soccer teams both slipped in the latest unofficial Louisiana High School Athletic Association Division II power rankings released Wednesday afternoon. The Tigers slipped two spots in the latest rankings to No. 11, while the Lady Tigers also fell two spots to No. 21.
