Raynell Williams

New to list wanted for assault, theft

A 28-year-old Franklin man wanted for threatening someone with a knife during an argument and a 24-year-old Morgan City man wanted for stealing items from a safe at his place of employment are the new additions to The Daily Review’s St. Mary Parish’s Most Wanted list.
Franklin
Devon Parker, 28, is wanted on warrants dated June 5 for simple criminal damage to property and aggravated assault. Officers are seeking Parker after an incident where he is accused of threatening the victim with a knife during a verbal altercation and damaging the victim’s vehicle, Franklin Police Chief Sabria McGuire said in a news release. Parker is 5 feet, 9 inches tall and weighs 150 pounds.
Police are also searching for suspects Raynell Williams, Eric Dennis and Lavonacheck Thomas.
Williams is wanted on a warrant for failure to register as a sex offender. Dennis is wanted on a warrant for domestic abuse battery. Thomas is wanted for possession of Schedule IV xanax, possession of Schedule II lortab, possession of Schedule IV soma, possession of Schedule II roxicodone, and two counts of prohibited acts for altered/forged prescriptions.
Williams, Dennis and Thomas have been featured since November, October and September, respectively. Anyone with information on these suspects may call Franklin police at 337-828-1716.
On June 12, previously featured suspect Spencer Bourda, 23, of the 100 block of Blakesley Street in Franklin, was arrested on warrants for resisting an officer with force, battery on a police officer and possession of Schedule I marijuana, possession of Schedule I marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and abuse of toxic vapors.
The warrants stemmed from a May 22 incident where an officer attempted to stop and identify Bourda, McGuire said. While the officer was trying to identify Bourda, he threw the narcotics on the ground, kicked the officer and fled the scene on foot, McGuire said.
Morgan City
Lionel Paul Joseph, 24, is wanted for theft more than $1,500. He is 5 feet, 11 inches tall and weighs 230 pounds.
Joseph has last known addresses listed in the 200 block of Halsey Street in Morgan City and in the 2900 block of La. 1 in Labadieville. Joseph was last seen driving a bronze 2007 Chevy Impala bearing license plate number XLA608, Morgan City Police Chief Michael Banks said in a news release.
Detectives began an investigation into a theft from a fast food restaurant located on La. 182 in Morgan City. Joseph, who was employed in a management position at that location, is accused of removing funds from a safe and taking a computer and electronic tablet before resigning his position, Banks said.

Suspects Mitchell Freeman and John Joseph Marchetti are still wanted. Freeman, whose last known address is in Benton, Ky., was first featured in December’s edition and is wanted on a warrant for forgery and theft. He is 6 feet tall and weighs 190 pounds.
Marchetti, who was first featured in April 2013, is wanted on two counts for theft more than $500 totaling $5,600, two counts of bank fraud and two counts of forgery.
St. Mary Parish Sheriff
Previously featured suspects Carlin David Stelly, Larry Dean Robertson Jr. and Andre Jones still have active warrants for their arrests. Stelly, 36, whose last known address is the 1100 block of Jules Broussard Road in Breaux Bridge, is wanted on warrants for failure to appear on the charge of criminal neglect of family. Deputies developed information that Stelly may be visiting or staying somewhere in the Centerville area, St. Mary Parish Mark Hebert said in a news release.
Stelly owes more than $48,000 in child support/alimony payments, Hebert said. Stelly first appeared in the Most Wanted edition in May.
Robertson is wanted for armed robbery and failure to appear for simple robbery. Jones is wanted for failure to appear for criminal neglect of family. Robertson and Jones have both been on the Most Wanted list since October 2012.

Patterson
Previously featured suspects Marilyn D. Brown and Christopher S. Webb both still have active warrants for their arrests. Brown is wanted on warrants for possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of crack cocaine. Webb is wanted for distribution of cocaine. Brown has been on the Most Wanted list since July while Webb has been featured since April 2013.

Berwick
Police are still trying to locate David Fanguy and Shaneal Juwayn Williams. Fanguy is wanted for domestic abuse battery fourth offense. Williams is wanted for hit and run, improper backing and expired driver’s license. Fanguy and Williams were first run in the Most Wanted edition in October 2012 and September 2012, respectively.
