Autin named 2nd-team All Distric

Staff Report

Central Catholic High School’s Hallie Autin was named to the second team of the All-District 7-1A girls basketball team, while teammate Taylor Picou was a Defensive Team selection.
Autin is a sophomore, while Picou, a freshman.
Three Lady Eagles received honorable mention all-district honors: Picou, Sydney Williams and Mary-Beth Blanchard.
Vermilion Catholic swept the individual awards as Ashailee Brailey was named Most Valuable Player and Kim Guidry, Coach of the Year.
Ten Lady Eagles were named Academic All-District: Blanchard, Autin, Emma Aucoin, Rebecca David, Hanna Mccue, Williams, Elise Hidalgo, Lexi Landry, Rachel Rogers and Caitlyn Picou.
