Hardee-Adams exchange vows Jan. 14

Leilani Naniloa Hardee and Christopher Lee Adams were united in holy matrimony at Patterson United Methodist Church at 7 p.m. on Jan. 14. The Rev. Steve Porter of Patterson United Methodist Church and the Rev. Don Ross of First United Methodist Church in Houma officiated at the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Townsend Hardee of Morgan City and Stephanie Robicheaux of Lafayette. She is the granddaughter of Ila Hardee of Morgan City and the late Richard Hardee, and Mr. and Mrs. Barry Mahady of Lafayette.
The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Terry Adams of Houma. He is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Chapman Hanks and the late Mr. and Mrs. Ben Adams.
For the occasion, the sanctuary was adorned with arrangements of Bells of Ireland, white hydrangeas, fuchsia alstroemeria, assorted peonies and waxflowers.
Music was rendered by Lee LeBlanc, organist, and vocalists Abbie Paradee and Glynn Fears.
Escorted by her father, the bride wore a ballroom wedding gown of ivory satin. The illusion-neckline bodice had a sweetheart-style inner bodice. The back of the bodice was fully covered with illusion, detailed with buttons and crystals, which flowed down the back and the chapel train.
Complementing the gown was a fingertip-length veil of ivory illusion trimmed in crystals.
She carried a clutch bouquet of assorted peonies, Ocean Song roses, Onyx alstroemeria, miniature calla lilies and purple waxflowers.
Leslie Churchwell was maid of honor. She wore a one-shoulder, A-line gown of floor-length shamrock green chiffon. She carried a clutch bouquet of assorted peonies and waxflowers.
Bridesmaids were Maggie Moore Bagwell, Julie Ann Listi Montgomery and Lauren Donovan Breaux.
Flower girls were Allie Keith, cousin of the bride, and Reese Breaux.
Brian Boudreaux served as best man. Groomsmen were Britt Adams, brother of the groom, Jason Rodriguez and Matt Whitlock.
Serving as ushers were Zachary Romero and Nicholas Romero, brothers of the bride and Ian Bergeron, cousin of the bride.
The reception followed at NicoBella in Morgan City.
Door wreaths decorated with assorted peonies and hydrangeas greeted guests as they entered the reception hall. The registration table held a mercury glass vase filled with assorted peonies, Onyx alstroemeria, miniature calla lilies, ivory chrysanthemums and purple waxflowers. Guest tables were adorned with bouquets of different heights of the same flowers. In the center of the food table was a large bouquet of Bells of Ireland, assorted peonies, ivory hydrangea, Onyx alstroemeria, and purple waxflowers.
The bride’s cake was a four-tiered confection topped with flowers that matched the bride’s bouquet.
Prior to the wedding, the groom’s parents hosted a rehearsal dinner in the River Room at Café Jo Jo’s in Morgan City.
The newlyweds honeymooned in Miami and Key West, Florida, and reside in Houma.
