MCHS’ Chenevert earns All-State honor

Morgan City High School girls’ basketball standout Casey Chenevert recently earned honorable mention Class 4A All-State honors on the team, chosen by the Louisiana Sports Writers Association.

Lady Tigers fall 69-42

The Morgan City Lady Tigers fell to Ellender in District 7-4A play Tuesday, 69-42.
Ellender jumped out to a 16-6 lead after the first period and had extended it to 40-15 at the half.
