AGA tourney results told

The Atchafalaya Golf Association held its AGA Member-Guest Tournament Saturday at The Atchafalaya at Idlewild near Patterson.
The association holds tournaments throughout the year, usually monthly, and members garner points towards an AGA Ryder Cup-style tournament set this year for September at The Atchafalaya. The top 24 point-earners will play on two, 12-man teams.
Membership is always open. Anyone interested in joining the Atchafalaya Golf Association should contact The Atchafalaya Director of Golf Ed Selser at 985-395-4653.
Winners of the AGA Member-Guest Tournament held Saturday were Nolan Dumas and Bryan Myers, first place with a 139 total; David Schexnayder and Willie Edwards, second place with a score of 139 (a playoff round decided the winner); and Bill Marin and Bryan Pupera, third place with a score of 141.
Marin had the low score of the day with a 69. David Burch fired a 71. Charles Mayea, Myers and Dumas each shot even par rounds of 72.
