Spring sign ups ongoing

The Morgan City Recreation Department is taking player registrations through March 17 for T-ball as well as its various baseball leagues.
T-ball is open to those who will be 5 years old by May 1 of this year and who will not reach age 7 until after April 30 of this year.
Minor League (7-8 years old) is open to those who will be 7 years old by May 1 but will not reach age 9 until after April 30.
City League is open to those who will reach age 9 by May 1 but will not reach age 11 until after April 30.
Dixie League is open to youngsters who will be 11 years old by May 1 but will not turn age 13 until after April 30.
To sign up, visit the recreation department at 915 Everett St., Monday through Friday, from 8 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. and from 1:30 p.m. until 5 p.m.
To register, applicants must bring a copy of the child’s birth certificate and a registration fee of $45 for the first child, $30 for the second and $15 for the third participant. No family will pay more than $90 to participate.

Amelia signups ongoing
The Amelia Recreation Center is offering T-ball sign ups for youngsters, ages 4-6, and baseball sign ups for those ages 7-15.
The recreation center is also looking for coaches and sponsors for the season.
The deadline to register is March 7.
