West lane of U.S. 90 bridge to close next week for routine inspections

The outside west lane of the U.S. 90 bridge over Berwick Bay will be closed beginning Tuesday through March 12 for routine bridge inspections, a state Department of Transportation and Development news release said.

Work is estimated to take place from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., daily, weather permitting.

Oversized loads will be restricted to less than 12 feet wide.
