CCHS advances to 5th straight semifinals

RUSTON -- Top-ranked Central Catholic advanced to its fifth straight Class 1A semifinal with an 8-4 victory against No. 9 Cedar Creek in Class 1A quarterfinal baseball action today.
Central Catholic (26-4) will return to the field May 13 in the Class 1A semifinals against the winner of No. 5 Hanson and No. 13 Catholic High-Pointe Coupee. Hanson and Catholic-Pointe Coupee will play Thursday.
