Cameron Clements nets KCAC Baseball Pitcher of the Week

A Patterson High alum and Kansas Wesleyan pitcher earned Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference Baseball Pitcher of the Week honors last week.
Cameron Clements, a junior, earned the award March 8, following his performance in Kansas Wesleyan’s 8-0 win in its conference-opening series March 5 against Friends University.
In six innings, Clements allowed one hit, taking a no-hitter into the sixth inning. He fanned 12. He struck out every batter he faced at least once.
This season, Clements has started five games. He is 1-2 with a 7.89 ERA. In 21.2 innings, he has allowed 23 hits, 23 runs — 19 earned — with 24 walks and fanned 29.
