4-H Area Commodity Cookery Contest

The 2014 4-H Area Cookery Contest was
held at the Municipal Auditorium in Houma
on Mon., April 28. Twelve 4-H members
from St. Mary Parish along with their parents
and 4-H agents traveled to Houma to
compete in this competition. To qualify for
the area cookery contest, 4-H members first
had to place Grand Champion in their division
at the parish cookery contest held in
Franklin on October 12. Below are the contest
