3-vehicle crash on La. 182 leaves Centerville man dead

A 52-year-old Centerville man was killed Friday in a three-vehicle crash on La. 182 by Dixie Road near Franklin, Louisiana State Police Troop I report.
The crash occurred about 8 p.m. when an eastbound 1999 Dodge truck driven by David Polidore, of Centerville, crossed the centerline and struck a 2007 Honda Civic operated by Rhonda Mello, 56, of Franklin, police said.
After impact, the truck rolled onto its right side and continued to travel in the westbound lane of La. 182, police said.
While on its side, the truck a Ford F-150 pickup traveling west and driven by Terry Adams, 50, of Patterson, police said.
Polidore was wearing a seat belt at the time of the wreck, but was pronounced dead by a St. Mary Parish Coroner’s Office representative, police said.
Rhonda Mello and a her passenger, Harley Mello, were wearing seat belts and received moderate injuries, police said. Both were taken to a local hospital and treated for their injuries, police said.
Adams and his passenger, Crystal Gonzalez, were wearing seat belts and were not injured, police said.
Police said impairment is suspected to be factor in the crash. Routine toxicology samples were taken and sent to the Louisiana State Police Crime Lab for analysis, police said.
