Another 18-wheeler overturns on La. 70 by Lake End Park this morning

For the second time in two days, an 18-wheeler overturned on La. 70 by Lake End Park, according to police.
As of about 7:30 a.m. today, the roadway remained open but may be closed eventually to remove the 18-wheeler, police said. This morning an 18-wheeler carrying 50,760 pounds of concrete overturned on La. 70, but no spill occurred, police said. No injuries were reported, police said. The driver, Rafael Rosado, 67, of Jacksonville, Florida, was cited for careless operation with an accident, police said.
On Thursday, an 18-wheeler carrying 8,000 gallons of diesel overturned in the same area on La. 70 and caused traffic to be diverted through Lake End Park for more than 13 hours while crews cleaned a spill.
