Arrest reports

St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert reported responding to 27 complaints during a 24-hour period and reported the following arrests in east St. Mary Parish:
—Ronald Lumpkin, 35, of the 100 block of Robicheaux Lane in Verdunville, was arrested at 9:09 a.m. Wednesday for aggravated assault (domestic). A deputy responding to a report of a disturbance learned that Lumpkin threatened a female with a knife during an argument, Hebert said. Lumpkin was jailed with no bail set.
—Justin Carpenter, 31, of the 1500 block of Cross Road in Bayou Vista, was arrested at 12:22 p.m. Tuesday for cruelty to animals, a violation of a parish ordinance. A deputy responding to a report of animal cruelty located a dog tied to a tree in a manner preventing the animal from getting to food or shelter. The deputy also observed that the dog appeared sickly, Hebert said. The deputy learned that the animal belonged to Carpenter. Animal control was contacted to pick up the dog. Carpenter was released on a summons to appear in court on March 26.
—Destanie Daigle, 23, of the 400 block of Duke Street in Morgan City, was arrested at 6:46 p.m. Tuesday on a warrant from Morgan City police for possession of drug paraphernalia. A deputy received information regarding Daigle’s whereabouts and located her at a business on U.S. 90 in Bayou Vista. Daigle was jailed and released on $1,500 bail.
—Ryan W. Lodrigue, 20, of the 100 block of Riverview Road in Patterson, was arrested at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of disturbing the peace by fighting. Lodrigue turned himself in at the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center in Centerville after learning of the warrant for his arrest. He was released on $750.
Morgan City Police Chief Travis Crouch reported the following arrests:
—Ashley N. Jennings, 26, of Ohio Street in Morgan City, was arrested at 11:48 a.m. Wednesday for possession of Schedule I controlled dangerous substance (marijuana) and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Officers received information of illegal drug activity at an Ohio Street residence and were dispatched to investigate. Jennings was located at the residence and after further investigation, officers recovered suspected marijuana and items of paraphernalia. Jennings was jailed on $1,484 bail.
—Derrick S. Durocher, 24, of Second Street in Morgan City, was arrested at 12:16 a.m. today for disturbing the peace intoxicated, and two counts of resisting an officer.
Berwick Police Chief James Richard reported the following arrest:
—Ashton Allen, 22, of Ehrlich Street in Berwick, was arrested at 10:18 p.m. Tuesday for simple battery and two counts of resisting an officer. Allen was jailed on $850 cash bail.
Franklin Police Chief Sabria McGuire reported the following arrest:
—Jessie Webb, 26, of Second Street in Patterson, was arrested at 5:33 p.m. Monday, on two fugitive warrants for the St. Charles Parish Sheriff’s Office. Webb was jailed with no bail set.
Patterson Police Chief Patrick LaSalle reported no arrests.
Berwick Police Chief James Richard reported no arrests.
