Arrest reports

St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert reported the following arrests:
—Arthur J. Streetman, 23, of the 200 block of Utah Street in Berwick, was arrested at 4:53 p.m. Wednesday for possession of schedule I drugs and no driver’s license on person. A deputy investigating a complaint of two suspicious persons in a vehicle at the Berwick boat landing made contact with Streetman and a passenger. While speaking with Streetman, the deputy discovered a small bag of marijuana in the car, Hebert stated. The deputy also learned that Streetman did not have a driver’s license with him. Streetman was released on a summons to appear in court.
—Melanie Stevens, 25, of Houma, was arrested at 7:14 p.m. Wednesday for possession of schedule I drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia. Narcotics detectives saw Stevens sleeping in a vehicle at a business on U.S. 90 in Bayou Vista. Detectives observed several burnt marijuana cigarettes inside the vehicle and located a pack of rolling papers and a pack of Black Magic Herbal Incense (synthetic marijuana), Hebert stated. Stevens remains jailed on $3,500 bail.
—Melissa Ribardi-Evans, 44, of Canal Road in Bayou Vista, was arrested at 8:18 p.m. Wednesday on a warrant for distribution of methamphetamine. The warrant stems from an investigation during which Ribardi-Evans sold methamphetamine to an undercover narcotics detective, Hebert stated. She remains jailed with no bail set.
Morgan City Police Chief Michael Banks reported the following arrests:
—Natoya Singleton, 23, of Morgan City, was arrested at 12:40 p.m. Wednesday for red light violation and on a warrant for failure to return leased merchandise. While on patrol in the area of U.S. 90 and La. 70, a Morgan City police officer observed a vehicle proceed through an intersection that was displaying a red light signal. According to the warrant for her arrest, Singleton failed to return a leased refrigerator. She was incarcerated with no bail set.
—Jessie Davis, 22, of Morgan City, was arrested at 5:20 p.m. Wednesday on a warrant for simple criminal damage to property. Morgan City police came into contact with Davis at the intersection of Fifth and Duke streets. According to the warrant, Davis is accused of committing damage to a vehicle on or about May 18. He remains incarcerated.
—Mashane Charles, 25, of Morgan City, was arrested at 12:40 p.m. Wednesday for driving under suspension and no seat belt. He was booked and jailed.
—Dennis Mitchell, 25, of Morgan City, was arrested at 3 a.m. today for no brake lights, driving under suspension and a warrant for failure to appear on a seat belt violation in Terrebonne Parish. He was booked and jailed.
Patterson Police Chief Patrick LaSalle reported no arrests.
Berwick Police Chief James Richard reported the following arrest:
—Orion McCranie, 34, of Wilson Street in Berwick was arrested at 9:09 p.m. Wednesday for failure to yield and driving under suspension on Wilson Street. He was released on $1,250 bail.
