Arrest reports

Sheriff Mark Hebert reported the following arrests:
—Malcolm Smith, 27, of the 1700 block of Fern Street in Patterson, was arrested at 11:34 p.m. Wednesday for criminal trespass and aggravated assault. A deputy responded to a complaint of trespassing at a business on U.S. 90 in Bayou Vista. When speaking with Smith, the deputy observed a knife attached to Smith’s pants. The deputy issued commands to Smith in order to retrieve the weapon. Smith refused to comply, becoming hostile toward the deputy before reaching for the knife. He remained jailed with no bail set.
—Joshua J. Folks, 36, of the 200 block of Lacy Street in Franklin, was arrested at 10:06 a.m. Wednesday on a warrant for criminal damage to property and simple escape. Folks was transported from the Lafayette Parish Correctional Center to the parish jail on the warrant. No bail is set.
—Christopher L. Horton, 28, of the 100 block of Burchfield Lane in Berwick, was arrested at 10:03 a.m. Wednesday on a warrant for criminal damage to property and simple escape. Horton was transported from the Lafayette Parish Correctional Center to the parish jail on the warrant. No bail is set.
—Naomi Courville, 36, of the 400 block of Bush Street in Morgan City, was arrested at 9:57 a.m. Wednesday on a warrant from Terrebonne Parish for two counts of issuing worthless checks. A deputy located Courville at her residence. She was released on $429.28 bail.
—Ivy J. Hebert Sr., 42, of Abbeville, was arrested at 2:15 p.m. Wednesday on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of criminal neglect of family. A deputy was contacted by Morgan City Police regarding the active warrant. Bail is set at $2,114.29.
—Samantha Landreneau, 21, of the 100 block of Aucoin Street in Amelia, was arrested at 1:41 p.m. Wednesday for second offense possession of synthetic cannabinoids and possession of legend drug (Seroquel) without a prescription. St. Mary Parish Sheriff’s Office Narcotics detectives were contacted by probation and parole officers in reference to locating illegal drugs while conducting a compliance check. Probation officers said that while speaking with Landreneau, they received consent to search and located two packs of synthetic cannabinoids, several partially burnt synthetic cannabinoids cigars, cigar wrappers and a prescription bottle containing Seroquel pills in Landreneau’s vehicle. Landreneau is jailed with no bail set.
—Franklin Rudolph, 56, of the 200 block of Bud Street in Franklin, was arrested at 6:29 p.m. Wednesday on possession of Schedule II (oxycodone) with intent to distribute, possession of legend drug (Tramadol) with intent to distribute, possession of marijuana and possession of legend drug (Mobic) without a prescription. Detectives of the St. Mary Parish Narcotics Division conducted a narcotics investigation with U.S. Postal Inspectors. Narcotics detectives intercepted a package addressed to Rudolph at his home. Inside the package, detectives located several oxycodone pills and over two dozen Tramadol capsules. Detectives carried out a search warrant at Rudolph’s residence and located suspected marijuana and Mobic. He remains jailed with no bail set.
Berwick Police Chief James Richard reported the following arrest:
—Roger Clements, 55, of Franklin, was arrested at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday on a warrant for failure to appear for no trash cover. He was located in the parish jail. No bond information is available.
Patterson Police Chief Patrick LaSalle reported no arrests.
