Arrests reports

A 23-year-old Franklin woman, who was already in the Morgan City Jail, was booked on additional charges after being accused of striking a correctional officer and making threats to physically harm other officers, Morgan City Police Chief Michael Banks said in a news release.
—Lashawn M. Antoine, 23, of Samuel Street in Franklin, was arrested at 1 p.m. Wednesday for threatening a public official, battery on a correctional officer and resisting an officer.
Antoine was booked on additional charges after she became unruly inside the jail, Banks said. As correctional officers intervened, Antoine was reported to have made threats to harm the officers, Banks said.
During officers’ attempts to move her into a holding cell, Antoine was accused of striking a correctional officer and had to be physically subdued, Banks said. She was booked and remains incarcerated.
Banks reported the following arrests:
—Mike W. Stelter, 34, of Egle Street in Morgan City, was arrested at 8:16 p.m. Wednesday for improper lane usage, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of Schedule I marijuana and driving under suspension.
An officer observed a vehicle being driven in an erratic manner in the area of Second Street and stopped the vehicle to investigate. The driver, identified as Stelter, was found to be operating a vehicle with a suspended driver’s license. Stelter was also found to possess a container that contained suspected marijuana. He was jailed.
St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert reported responding to 42 complaints in the parish and reported the following arrests in east St. Mary Parish:
—Sidney Boutte, 36, of the 100 block of Mill Road in Patterson, was arrested at 10:51 a.m. Wednesday for simple battery and simple trespassing. Deputies responded to a complaint where Boutte went to a resident on La. 182 in Bayou Vista and began arguing and pushing the victim. He was jailed and released on $1,500 bail.
—Shade Ratcliff, 48, of the 1200 block of Federal Avenue in Morgan City, was arrested at 9:29 a.m. Wednesday on a warrant from Harris County, Texas, on charge of indecency. He was jailed.
—Christopher Pollard, 29, of the 1600 block of Federal Avenue in Morgan City, was arrested at 10:51 a.m. Wednesday on a Morgan City warrant for possession of synthetic cannabinoids. He was jailed.
—Jamal Gibson, 27, of the 100 block of Headland Street in Morgan City, was arrested at 3:43 p.m. Wednesday at the Terrebonne Parish Jail on a warrant for probation violation. He was jailed.
—Samatti Cagnolati, 42, of the 5800 block of Plank Road in Baton Rouge, was arrested at 10:45 a.m. Wednesday at the parish courthouse on a warrant from Ascension Parish for non-support and contempt of court. He was jailed.
Patterson Police Chief Patrick LaSalle reported the following arrest:
—Latoya N. Mitchell, 39, of the 500 block of Catherine Street in Patterson, was arrested at 7:17 p.m. Wednesday for simple battery-domestic violence. Mitchell was jailed with no bail set yet.
Berwick Police Chief James Richard reported no arrests.
