Detectives investigating wallet/ID theft at Bayou Vista Walmart (update)

UPDATE from the St. Mary Parish Sheriff's Office: The suspect has been identified. Charges are pending.
The St. Mary Parish Sheriff’s Office today released surveillance photos of a woman wanted in connection with the theft of a 75-year-old woman’s wallet at the Walmart in Bayou Vista at about 1:30 p.m. Monday.
The woman told investigators she discovered her wallet was missing as she was checking out of the store, the news release said.
The detective assigned to the case obtained video surveillance footage of a female suspect reaching into the victim’s shopping basket, taking her wallet, and leaving the store, the news release said.
Although the victim took immediate action to cancel the credit and debit cards she kept in her wallet, one of the cards had already been used at two stores in Bayou Vista and Morgan City to purchase over $1,000 in Visa gift cards, the sheriff said. . The same female suspect can be seen on surveillance video at those locations taking the stolen cards from the stolen wallet to make the purchases, he added.
Investigators are also looking for the driver or owner of the vehicle that is seen dropping off the suspect at Walmart. Detectives believe the occupant(s) of the vehicle may have information about the identity of the suspect.
