Gibson man charged with aggravated incest

A 31-year-old Gibson man was arrested Wednesday for aggravated incest after having sex with a 15-year-old girl, Terrebonne Parish Sheriff Jerry Larpenter said in a news release.
Terry Harrington, 31, of the 600 block of Cypress Street in Gibson, was arrested for aggravated incest, molestation of a juvenile, and contributing to the delinquency of a juvenile.
Deputies responded to a complaint from a 15-year-old female who reported that an adult male family member had sexual intercourse with her inside his residence Wednesday night, Larpenter said.
Detectives responded to investigate and based on information collected at the scene as well as from the juvenile victim, and arrested Harrington.
He was jailed at the Terrebonne Parish Criminal Justice Complex awaiting a bail hearing.
