Man in custody after allegedly firing shots in Morgan City

A man is in custody after allegedly firing several shots Sunday night on Maine Street in Morgan City, according to Morgan City police.
Officers responded to a Maine Street disturbance at 8:45 .pm. Sunday. Officers learned that a male subject had armed himself with a gun, firing several shots. The alleged shooter is in police custody, and the weapon was recovered.
