Patterson man arrested for failing to verify address as sex offender

St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert reported the following arrests in east St. Mary Parish:
—Kenneth Francis, 37, of the 100 block of Bernard Street in Patterson, was arrested at 1:58 p.m. Thursday at the parish jail after transport from Texas for failure to appear in court for trial for possession with intent to distribute alprazolam and possession of drug paraphernalia and failure to return verification of address as a registered sex offender. He was taken to the parish jail and held. Bail is set at $15,000.
—Brandon Barrilleaux, 29, of Mars Road in Bayou Vista, was arrested at 1:39 p.m. Thursday at Walmart in Bayou Vista for simple criminal damage to property and theft. Barrilleaux was observed taking several items of merchandise from the store without paying for them. In the process of taking the items he broke some security containers. He was taken to the parish jail and held. While at the jail he was found to have several pills on him. He was additionally charged with introduction of contraband into a jail. No bail has been set yet.
—Rushard Fleming, 30, of Joe Nerstine Road in Hammond, was arrested at 5:05 p.m. Thursday for possession of marijuana. Fleming was released on a summons.
—Annabel Garza, 19, of the 500 block of Egle Street in Morgan City, was arrested at 5:05 p.m. Thursday for possession of marijuana and was released on a summons.
—Delshone Maryland, 38, of the 47300 block of Brittany Court in Hammond, was arrested at 5:05 p.m. Thursday for possession of marijuana, careless operation of a vehicle, suspended driver’s license, and no proof of insurance on vehicle. A deputy observed a vehicle driving erratically and almost causing a traffic crash on La. 70 and Ninth Street. The vehicle was stopped near the Best Western hotel and the driver was identified as Maryland. After questioning and consent to search vehicle was given, marijuana was located in the vehicle on some of the persons in the vehicle, Hebert said.
—Davidia Bias, 29, and Lawrence Blackburn, 35, both of the 1100 block of Grace Street in Siracusaville, were both arrested at same address for domestic abuse battery. During the investigation it was learned that both parties had been in an argument and fighting about property and one wanting the other one to leave the residence resulting in said charges. Both were taken to the parish jail and held. No bail has been set yet.
Morgan City Police Chief Travis Crouch reported the following arrests:
—Nikki M. Dupree, 30, of Laurel Street in Morgan City, was arrested at 8:39 p.m. Thursday for possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of a controlled dangerous substance in a drug free zone, on a warrant for a probation violation, and failure to appear to pay probation fees.
Officers were working a detail at Morgan City High School when they were approached by Dupree asking for help to unlock her vehicle. Upon walking up to the vehicle, officers detected an odor of what appeared to be marijuana emitting from inside of the vehicle. Officers spoke to Dupree, and she admitted to officers that she had used suspected marijuana before arriving at the school function, Crouch said. The vehicle was unlocked at which time Dupree directed officers to the suspected marijuana. She was taken to the Morgan City Police Department where she was found to be a wanted person. She was taken to jail and held with no bail set at this time
—Shauntell N. Hartdegen, 30, of La. 20 in Schriever, was arrested at 11:38 p.m. Thursday for disturbing the peace, simple criminal damage to property and misrepresentation during booking.
Officers were dispatched to a residence on Egle Street regarding a female destroying property. Upon officers arrival they located Hartdegen standing outside. Officers spoke with the complainant and they advised that Hartdegen was there to remove items from the residence, during that time she became involved in an argument with another occupant of the residence. At that time, Hartdegen entered back inside and kicked a television, breaking it. Hartdegen was taken to the Morgan City Police Department where she refused to supply information to be booked, Crouch said.
—Anthony C. Bergeron, 48, of Bayou Black Drive in Gibson, was arrested at 1:49 a.m. today for speeding, driving while intoxicated first offense, possession of marijuana third offense, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
An officer patrolling the area of La. 182 stopped a vehicle exceeding the speed limit. Upon speaking to the driver officers detected an odor of an alcoholic beverage upon his person. Bergeron refused to submit to any field sobriety tests and he was arrested, Crouch said. A vehicle inventory was done at which time officers located suspected marijuana, Crouch said. Bergeron was taken to Morgan City Police Department where Bergeron refused to submit to a breath test. Bergeron was taken to jail and held. 
Berwick Police Chief James Richard reported no arrests.
Patterson Police Chief Patrick LaSalle reported no arrests.
