Patterson man wanted after escaping police unit

Patterson Police are seeking the public's help to find a 25-year-old man who escaped from a police unit Thursday after being arrested on drug and theft charges, police said.
Jeremy Hall, 25, whose last known address is 308 Como Street, Apartment A in Patterson, is wanted on the charges of simple escape, theft, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Hall is listed as 6 feet, 2 inches tall and 158 pounds.
Officers went to Hall's home on Como Street in Patterson at 5:10 p.m. Thursday as part of a drug investigation, police said. Upon entering the home, officers found drugs and paraphernalia, police said.
Police arrested Hall and a woman at the home. Officers handcuffed Hall and placed him into a police unit. While being placed into the unit, he got the handcuffs in front of his body and escaped the vehicle when the officers turned their backs, police said. Hall fled on foot from officers, police said.
The woman found with Hall at the residence, Shayla Chaney, 19, of 308 Como Street, Apartment A in Patterson, was arrested Thursday evening on the charges of possession of marijuana first offense and possession of drug paraphernalia.
