Police: Car hits Morgan City house; no one injured

A car ran into a house on Sixth Street in Morgan City today, but no one was injured in the incident, according to Morgan City police.
Lathaniel Washington, 61, of Morgan City was cited for careless operation with an accident after the car he was driving ran into a residence in the 500 block of Sixth Street, police said. Residents were inside the home at the time of the accident but were uninjured, police said.
