Police Reports 1-30-15

St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert reported the following arrests:
Tyler M. Porche, 28, of 431-1 Clark Road, Bayou Vista, was arrested Thursday at 7:36 a.m. on charges of driving under suspension, school zone violation and no proof of insurance. He was released on a summons.
Dustin Pike, 18, of 340 Ratcliff Lane, Ricohoc, was arrested Thursday at 1:21 p.m. on charges of possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. No bond was set.
Rodrick Hunter, 23, of Patterson, Deavnta Burden, 22, of Franklin, Marvin Gabriel, 23, of Baldwin and Quincy Toups, 34, of Patterson, all inmates at the parish jail, were additionally charged with second degree battery Thursday afternoon.
A jailer responded to a disturbance in a dorm Tuesday and observed an inmate with injuries to his face. The inmate was removed from the dorm, given medical attention and subsequently transported to a local hospital for additional treatment. During the course of the investigation the jailer reportedly identified the above listed inmates as subjects who struck the victim in the head causing two fractures to his face. The charged offenders remain incarcerated.
Jaylin D. Francois, 17, of 1010 Ditch Avenue, Morgan City, was arrested Thursday at 5:31 p.m. on a charge of theft of goods and was released on a summons.
Michael S. Leger, 51, of New Iberia, was arrested Thursday at 11:16 p.m. on charges of possession of marijuana, cocaine, Lortab, Xanax and drug paraphernalia as well as entering contraband into a jail. No bond was set.
John H. Finister, 21, of 10536 La. 182, Franklin, was arrested Thursday at 11:19 p.m. on charges of tail light violation, resisting an officer by force, possession of Aderall, Xanaz and Ultram with intent to distribute. No bond was set.
Narcotics Division agents arrested Shantell S. Fryou, 27, of 3029 Allison St., Morgan City, Thursday at 10:57 p.m. on charges of possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a controlled dangerous substance in the presence of a minor. No bond was set.
Franklin Police Chief Sabria McGuire reported the arrest of Herman Perry, 26, of Myra Street, Franklin, Thursday at 11:40 a.m. on four warrants charging him with distribution of marijuana, crack cocaine. No bond was set.
